New Internships and Volunteer Opportunities available for Spring 2010!!!

Sometimes, all a woman needs is a supporter. Our ladies need people like you to listen to them and help them on their road to getting their lives back in order. Mending Hearts is now accepting applications for Spring 2010 Internship and Volunteer Opportunities.

You can volunteer in the following ways:

Be a wise and trusted Counselor                  Offer to Teach a Class                                    Senior Sponsor/Supporter

Help with Renovation Projects                       Help with Fundraising Efforts                         Spiritual and Religious Groups

Provide GED Tutoring                                    Provide Sports and Recreation Activities     Assist with Grant Writing

We are able to provide both our interns and volunteers the following:

Valuable Community Service Hours              Fun Work Environment                                    Letters of Recommendation

Non-Profit Experience                                     Experience in your field of Study                    Possible Job Opportunities

Simple things such as cooking a meal together, talking over a cup of coffee, or a manicure would mean the world to these women. Many of them have never participated in the activities that we all take for granted.

We would love for you or someone you know to volunteer. Volunteers are an essential part of the Mending Hearts team. With your time and support, we can continue to significantly effect change in the lives of women seeking relief from homelessness and addiction.
